Corporate Training
Prepare Your Leadership for the Future of Corporate Reporting
ESGjourny is an approved training partner under the IFRS Foundation’s ISSB Training Partner Programme. You can view our global partner status directly on the official IFRS Foundation Training Partner Directory.
Corporate sustainability is no longer an exercise in public relations—it is a core fiduciary duty. The introduction of IFRS S1 and IFRS S2 sets a rigorous global baseline for sustainability and climate-related financial disclosures. To protect corporate valuation and maintain access to global capital, leadership teams must master these highly technical standards.
Our executive corporate training programs deliver the official ISSB Disclosure Training curriculum exclusively through structured, physical boardroom sessions or premier venue workshops across Malaysia. Led by trainers who have been explicitly assessed and certified by the IFRS Foundation to deliver the programme, these masterclasses equip your financial, legal, and sustainability teams with the practical tools to evaluate corporate climate resilience, conduct scenario analyses, and compile audit-ready disclosures.
The Official ISSB Disclosure Training
4-Module Curriculum Breakdown
Our training architecture delivers the official program curriculum developed by the IFRS Foundation, the authors of the ISSB Standards:
Module
01
Module 1: Introduction to ISSB Standards – Master the foundational purpose, key features, and strategic deployment of the IFRS Sustainability Disclosure Standards. Your teams will learn the precise mechanisms required to isolate what truly qualifies as “material” to your enterprise value.
We guide you through the conceptual foundations of the standards so you can accurately determine which sustainability-related risks and opportunities must be reported to the market under the global frameworks.
Module
02
Module 2: Scope and Conceptual Foundations – Map the exact scope of disclosures, identify financial risks and opportunities, and take a closer look at isolating and disclosing material information. Under the frameworks of IFRS S1 and IFRS S2, companies evaluate their operational and financial resilience against various climate futures.
We walk your leadership through the core mechanics of climate-related scenario analysis, helping you understand how to model physical climate risks (such as extreme weather disruptions to your local assets) alongside transitional risks (such as carbon taxation and rapidly shifting policy landscapes).
Module
03
Module 3: Core Content of the ISSB Standards – A comprehensive two-part deep dive into Governance and Strategy requirements alongside Risk Management, Metrics, and Targets under IFRS S1 and IFRS S2 (including specialized Focus Blocks on Climate-Related Scenario Analysis and Scope 3 GHG emissions). As a fundamental component of modern corporate sustainability disclosure, Scope 3 greenhouse gas emissions require organizations to account for the carbon footprint generated across their value chain.
This module delivers the official IFRS curriculum to break down measurement boundaries, calculation methodologies, and data collection practices required to systematically map out value chain emissions.
Module
04
Module 4: General Requirements, Judgements, Uncertainties, and Errors – Navigating sources of guidance, location and timing of reporting, comparative data, and mastering the crucial Statement of Compliance. The final phase of the reporting journey involves finalizing and presenting your disclosures.
We prepare your financial, legal, and sustainability teams to navigate the judgements, estimations, and data uncertainties inherent in climate modeling and reporting. Participants will leave this session understanding the core requirements necessary to construct an official Statement of Compliance in accordance with the ISSB Standards.
